This is the 12 year old expression from The Singleton of Glendullan series, originally released for the Travel Retail market. Tasty stuff, which ought to work well as an aperitif style dram.
- Color: Light amber
- On the Nose: Leather, subtle sandalwood, vanilla, fruity, citrus, raisins, honey, almonds, oak
- On the Palate:Â Rich, sherry, sweetness, candied ginger, burnt sugar, burnt peanut brittle, raw ginger
- Finish:Â Short, smooth, ginger, oak
A fine malt that compliments your palate with delight. A nicely even-out balance between sherry and oak that tastes mature. A strong ginger output makes for a unique and pleasant taste profile. Fruit and wood undertones bring out the ginger in a good way making this an easy to sip on spirit.
