WHAT IS FINE COGNAC?

Fine Cognac blends of eau-de-vie are from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus. Recognized and protected to the origin related to six crus of Cognac.  Growing areas also include Borderies, Fins Bois, Bons Bois and Bois Ordinaires.  Origins carry very chalky soil. Terroir produces an aromatic eaux-de-vie, great ageing potential and slow ripening.  Petite gives cognacs potency while Grande gives finesse.

Process of Fine Cognac:

Cognac has more than 50% of its grapes from Grande Champagne. The process of creation, comes from the origins that designate the name. Grapes coming from either Grande or Petite Champagne create the Cognac.
